Jackson is a NYC-based actor/director. His love for theater began early and, from secretly crawling on stage his mother’s musical to high-fiving Newsies in his father's Broadway house, the theatre has always been his home. His strongest interest lies in creating communities first and theater second - as his parents did for him. It is so much easier to create meaningful, life-changing work if everyone is comfortable enough to play. Through his art, he invites audiences to remember their own childlike naivety, curiosity, and wonder.
Jackson started his work as a teacher and artist through Clarkstown Theatre Company in middle school which culminated in his first directorial piece, Dear Brutus in 2019. Then at Syracuse University, he had the pleasure of working with Syracuse Stage in Disney A Little Mermaid, teacher's assisting through All Star Cast, and writing, directing, and producing an original play called Kykeon for his honors thesis. Within the program, he also attended Syracuse's London Semester at the Globe, the Tepper Semester in NYC, Sorkin Week in LA, and his notable roles were Iachimo in Cymbeline and Washington Roebling in The Bridge(a New Works, New Voices production).
After graduating college in 2023, Jackson returned to Northwestern University to mentor prospective performance majors at the pre-college program NHSi where he was once a cherub. He then self-produced a youtube series of new, original monologues in a project he calls Alphabet Superset, worked at Tibbits Opera House during their summer season as Anthony in Sweeney Todd among other roles, and played Chorus/Mr. Ten-brock in a University of Columbia MFA directorial thesis of a new musical called Sally.
